aka Donald Glover (the guy from Community and DerrickComedy). Don’t be confused off by his pedigree, he does not rap for jokes. He’s got a masterful flow, and has poetic, instantly quotable lyrics. He also raps for meaning, something a lot of “mainstream” rappers lack, and he can sing. This kid is ridiculous…

-The Cool Kids
Probably the antithesis of usual rapper groups, instead of rapping about the cliched hot cars, bitches, and bling, they tend to rap about riding bikes, chilling at the mall, and eating pizza.

-Das Racist
Sort of like the Cool Kids, in that they’re not the who you expect to be rapping (one is a latino, the other is Indian), and their raps are full of smart lyrics, puns and obscure references. Super hipster, if you’re into that shit.

-Mac Miller
This kid is starting to blow up, so educate yourself while he’s still indie. He’s 19 years old, and already has an amazing flow. He just raps about smoking weed and chilling, basically a white version of Wiz Khalifa.
